Flowing Atmospheric-Pressure Afterglow

Cell

Direct analysis of pharmaceutical compounds: a whole Tylenol® Tablet is exposed to the flowing afterglow of the He-FAPA. The main peak that appears on the screen corresponds to the main active ingredient, acetaminophen (MH+ = 152)

Analysis of residuals on human skin: after handling the tablet of Tylenol, traces of the components remaining on the fingers can be detected. The main peak that appears on the screen corresponds to the main active ingredient of Tylenol, acetaminophen (MH+ = 151)
